For the past one week,each morning as I would open the Times of India my eyes would dart to the 2nd page where they had the schedule of the Times Delhi Festival.
Ghulam Ali Saheb was to perform on the 9th (yesterday) evening.Well didn't 've a companion to go, and the venue being Purana Qila, was a bit too wary of coming abck after the programe.
Well, i was going to miss a chance this way for sure....I looked outside the windowpane ....the day has been windy and very cold...I decided to strike another bargain with him privately ...., So I warmed up a nice bowl of Creme of Mushroom Soup,made myself a nice big omlette and downloaded a wonderful collection of Ghulam saheb's melodies and played it all evening ,as i worked sitting cocooned in the warmth of my corner in my room.........
Not so bad an evening...Thank you Ghulam Saheb..this was entertaining too....
